BPBD Holds Simulations in Various Locations for Disaster Preparedness Day

The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) is organizing a series of socialization and disaster simulation activities from April 21 to 30, 2025, in commemoration of the Disaster Preparedness Day 2025.

This is held in various health, education, and residential facilities such as Jakarta Regional Scout Movement Headquarters (Kwarda Pramuka), Kindergartens (TK), State Elementary Madrasahs (MIN), Madrasahs (MI), State Elementary Schools (SDN), Tsanawiyah Madrasahs (MTs), Junior High Schools (SMP), low-cost rental apartments, Regional General Hospitals (RSUD), Soeharto Heerdejan Hospital, and Pasar Rumput.
Jakarta BPBD Head, Isnawa Adji said this activity aimed at enhancing disaster awareness culture and build community capacity in facing potential disasters in Jakarta.

He added the activity organized included the dissemination of knowledge on preparedness and a simulation of earthquake evacuation techniques.
